7 Ways to Reignite your Passion

Hi guys, I really apologize I haven't been writing for a while now. There were some things going on with my job, had to leave it. And yeah, didn't leave it on a much happy note. It's been a month since I have left my job as a manager with an artiste (I'd rather not say the name). Just after I had left it, I was devastated and didn't know what to do and my self-confidence was down in the pit.

In the pathway to following are dreams and goals, we face many roadblocks, frustrations and other problems. Everyday, you have to get up and face those situations, people, customers.

This can take huge amount of toll on your Confidence, Enthusiasm and Passion. This is called as "getting stuck in the rut". I was stuck in the rut two months prior to leaving my job and one month after leaving it. I literally had to motivate myself everyday to get up for the day. It was so suffocating that I had had thoughts of even taking my own life. But that seemed to be an easy choice. I started motivating my self even to breathe and survive.

How to get out of the rut and get your mojo back? Here are 7 tips:

1. Treat yourself.

This phase of your life really eats you up. People say, "It'll pass!!" Well, let me tell you straight to your face, It's not... Not until you get up and do something about it. The best and the easiest thing you can do is Treat yourself, make yourself feel special. Eat Doughnuts, ice-cream... Spoil yourself, Pamper yourself...

2. Learn something new.

Learning never stops in life. The uncharted territory holds great opportunities for you to either gind a new passion or rekindle an old one. Or just keep you involved. Go out, learn something like a new technology, a language or anything.

3. Meditate.

Meditation is all getting one with yourself. Knowing yourself and being aware of what you really are. Keep a peaceful time of the day and understand yourself. Igniting the passion is easier when you know what you are passionate about.

4. Teach.

Teaching is another form of learning. I am not talking about going out in a school/college and become a professor or something. My point here is to just teach what you are good at. You are perfect and you know it. While you have are in touch of what you are best at, you will surely find your way.

5. Travel.

Traveling  is a good way to take your mind off something negative. You will be on your own. Just feel the freedom and the new air. Change is constant and in our day-to-day monotonous life, a small outing is all it takes to pump new life into your rustic brain and body. Traveling also enables you to communicate with yourself. You never know, you might just get a good idea that you've been searching for so long.

6. Nostalgic Passion.

Let me explain this with an example. My mom is Chemistry professor and she specializes in Organic Chemistry, which is my favourite as well. So, there was this evening I was discussing some stuff about about Organic Chemistry and it turns out, after 8 years, I still remember a whole lot of stuff.

You know that feel. It boosts your confidence very much. Try remembering the thing for which you were very passionate some years back and use that feel to Reignite.

7. Do whatever makes you happy.

Love music, or watching movies or sitcoms, or cooking or even talking to that someone special. Do Whatever makes you Happy. It's quite similar to the first point of Treating yourself. Like, for me, watching movies and talking to my girlfriend over the phone makes me alot happier. Even I fight with my girlfriend, we disagree on certain things and I get a fit of anger, still I call her back because I love talking to her and remembering her.
Remember to stay Happy... Always...

So, that said, here are some of my ways I think which might help you in reigniting the old lost passion. Feel free to comment. How do you reignite your passions??
